To kick off Temple’s Christmas in July, Santa Shezza is comin’ to town to make sense and make fun of these “present” moments that can bring stress, pleasure, and possibility.

What if desire were a gift—a sacred, shimmering offering that rises from within, often sparked by someone who awakens our longing? Sometimes we work up the courage to give that gift. We wrap it in a pretty box, tie it with a bow, and place it gently into another’s hands, hoping it will be received with the delight we dreamed of.

We all love arriving at a celebration and seeing a pile of gorgeous gifts under the tree. Maybe one of them is exactly what your heart has been aching for. Or maybe it looks perfect, but it’s from the wrong person. Yikes.
